Several experts will provide an in-depth overview of the topic. How does CRISPR-Cas work? What has changed under the new EU regulations? Who owns the patents to the CRISPR-Cas technology, and what are the practical implications? Have breeding companies already begun using this technology, and when can we expect the first commercially available cultivars? In the concluding panel debate, the topic of societal acceptance will be addressed alongside other subjects.
